How "Fonts" Work Where Fonts Are Banned

Instagram bios and usernames do not allow font choices — but Unicode contains complete mathematical alphabets (bold 𝗮, script 𝓪, fraktur 𝔞, double-struck 𝕒, monospace 𝚊...) that are technically different characters, so they survive anywhere text is accepted. This tool maps your text into 12+ such styles; tap a row to copy.

Honest caveats: these are letters only — Turkish characters (ç, ğ, ş...) have no math-alphabet versions and pass through unchanged; screen readers may spell styled text letter-by-letter, so keep it to accents, not whole paragraphs; and some older devices render gaps for the rarer styles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do some letters stay normal?

Only A-Z, a-z and 0-9 have Unicode math-alphabet equivalents. Accented and non-Latin characters keep their normal form inside the styled text.

Can this hurt my reach or accessibility?

Platforms do not penalize it, but screen readers can read styled words character-by-character. Use it for short flourishes — a name, a divider — not for sentences you want everyone to hear well.
